Who remembers the Lawrence Welk show?

This show, which featured, as I used to like to call it, old people music, because my mother made me watch this with her years ago, was on the air roughly 20yrs with the last show airing in 1982. But they did have talented musicians for the kind of music they played. I think they still have Lawrence Welk tribute shows that travel the country.
