This is a question I just have to ask. What was Jessica Alba thinking with the whole shark poster incident? If you are trying to make a statement regarding the mistreatment of some particular animal, why would you do it in a place that has very little impact on this issue? She was in Oklahoma City for goodness sakes, about as far away from the ocean as you can possibly get. If it had been a stand regarding this mistreatment of cows it might have made sense. I don't get it. Was this all designed to get attention in a round about way, so as to not overly anger those who might regard sharks as a source for recreational fishing or perhaps to use their skins or other parts as a saleable product. Make them mad, but from a distance? If you are out to make a point, why not plaster posters over a restaurant that serves shark as a delicacy or on a store that sells shark cartilage supplements. Maybe even protest in front of an establishment that caters to recreational fishermen. I think she's a good actress, but that was a very goofy move on her part.
