boo!

I never was a big fan of David Letterman and I am definately less enthusiastic about him now. I am so tired of these yahoos on the news telling Sara Palin to lighten up about his remarks about her and her daughter because, after all he is a comedian and it was just a joke. Well I wonder if these same people would take that view if it were their families were the butt of these jokes. David Letterman is a father himself, I bet he'd just be yucking it up if people starting talking trash about his son. I guess it all depends on which side of the fence you are on. I happen to admire Sara Palin, and yes, I did vote for Mccain and Palin, at least she had the honesty to say that her family is not perfect and chose to run on a platform that she would do the best job she could. All of her cards were on the table, nothing was hidden. If her daughter choses to advocate abstinence now that she has had a child, then let her do it. She is not the first teenager to have had sex and she won't be the last. She is not the first teenager to have gotten pregnant and found that it is very hard to be a teenage parent. Taking holier than thou potshots at a candidates family is a load of crap. Which by the way, my last post was regarding the ousted govenor Blogoiavich, probably spelled it wrong. I have an issue with him because he got caught doing something illegal and still refuses to admit he did something wrong. I got to thinking, he did something that is probably done all the time behind closed doors and I am sure that several people in political circles have done since politics began. Not saying it's right and that it should go unpunished, but I do believe he feels that he shouldn't be punished because it's one of those you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours type of things. The world is truly warped isn't it? Have a good day.
