A second circle of powerful children is added to the first and, while each of the first circle struggles to deal with misuse of their powers, a new threat comes into play, one that they had only heard of but not considered. Three new characters Finola who has the power to control growing things, Franklin who has the power to control fire and Alice who has the power to become invisible- and of course, the Keepers who have to make sure they are trained properly as a team to help the various worlds they are charged with protecting.
