parent teacher day

I went to parent teacher day today, my daughter is not doing bad at all, well maybe in math. But I always feel like I am in trouble, they make you sit outside the class room in these little chairs, and I feel like I babble like a boob when I get to the teacher. I am always so nervous, getting ready to appologize for everything my child did while she was at school. Always relieved when I find out that she did in fact, remember a lot of what I taught her and made me proud. And she is only in the third grade! What am I going to do when she gets older? Seriously, she is a good student, so I don't know why I expect the worst, I think I have a teacher complex. I was a good student too, so I don't know where this is coming from. Probably some kind of Freudian explanation for it. But I did hear one parent mention to another as I passed down the hall, that he was waiting for his chance to get reamed by the teacher, so maybe it's a universal thing.
